Company History

1994

Editure commenced operations in Australia under the name myinternet.  Initial focus was on providing internet services for schools.

1996

SINA (Schools Internet Network Administrator) was released, providing internet management, filtering, monitoring and email tools.  Partnered with Telstra for delivery of services to state government education departments in Australia (QLD, SA, VIC, TAS).

1999 

Won contract directly with ACT Department of Education.  Launched in New Zealand market.

2000

mydesktop product was added - a portal tool for school  intranet and internet web site services.  Entered United Kingdom and Hong Kong markets.

2001

Won government contract with NT Education Department to provide ICT services to all territory schools.

2002

Victorian Catholic Education Office moved from Telstra partnerships direct to myinternet contract, and later same occurred for Wollongong CEO, SA CEO, Tasmanian Government.

2003

Purchased LearningPoint software for independent schools market.

2004

myclasses was released - a virtual learning environment for delivery of teaching and learning using internet tools in the classroom.  myclasses wins Australian Information Industry Association iAward for best software innovation.  Schoolzone wins Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand award for most innovative broadband service.   Edsuite product was developed for the South Australian Department of Education Educonnect services for all state government schools.

2005 

Launched myportfolio, an eportfolio tool that provides a place for creating and storing digital work by students and teachers.

2006 

Changed name from myinternet to Editure.

2007  

Entered United States market.

2008

Launched in South African market.
