Is unsolicited email a problem at your school?

It has been estimated that spam email represents approximately 20% of all email received. Editure has released myspam detector, an anti-spam filter which assists schools in managing these unsolicited emails.

With myspam detector, education authorities are able to adjust 'rules' to provide an email confidence level appropriate for them. The higher the confidence threshold, the higher the probability that a tagged email is spam and not legitimate email.

After tagging, each suspected spam message is sent to the SINA administrator of the school, who can decide to delete or forward the email on to the intended recipient.

Collation of the identified spam email in one area means that the SINA administrator can attend to it at their convenience. SINA administrators can delete spam emails from the system immediately and free up valuable disk space for the school.
