Schoolsnet Victoria
Schoolsnet Victoria represents the most comprehensive fully managed e-Learning service available to Victorian Government schools.
It provides Victorian Government schools with an ISP service, as well as the administrative and community software tools that Editure has developed over the last ten years. These software tools were developed in Victoria and are now in use by thousands of schools in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
Recently, both spam filtering and anti-virus protection has been added at no additional charge. In addition, myclasses, our exciting Virtual Learning Environment, and myportfolio, our new digital portfolio solution, are now available as optional additions to the Schoolsnet Victoria service.
Schools are required to obtain their Internet services from a VicSmart connected service provider. The Department has worked with VicSmart Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to establish a range of affordable Internet services for schools.
VicSmart ISPs have been advised of the recommended minimum requirements they should meet for servies provided to schools. Editure services exceed these recommend mimimum requirements.
